Phillip Brutus holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Massachusetts in Boston and a Law Degree from the Suffolk University School of Law also located in Boston, Massachusetts. Attorney Brutus began his legal career as a Trial Attorney with the Federal Public Defender's Office for the Southern District of Florida. He entered private practice in 1989 and has since represented thousands of clients in civil, criminal, and immigration matters in both state and federal courts.
His experience includes appearances before the U.S.
Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), the Executive Office for Immigration Review (EOIR), the Board of Immigration Appeals (BIA), and courts throughout Florida.
